In Year 2 we have been turning stories into music, using the wonderful book ‘Walking Through the Jungle’ by Julie Lacome as a source of inspiration.
We discovered the rhythm in the words last week, so this week we started to create our own melodies using solfege Do-Mi-So on the xylephone. Remembering to rest on the ‘zas’ is especially tricky. We hope you enjoy our musical story telling.
