On Tuesday afternoon, we went to a local RAF base to experience the Barking & Dagenham ‘Junior Citizens Program’.
This was an afternoon to learn a little bit more about the wider world and the children had opportunities to meet and ask questions to The London Fire Service, The London Ambulance Service, The Met Police and the UK Power Network, amongst other important organisations.
This was both fun and informative and it will hopefully be of great use to them in the coming years. We were lucky to have this opportunity and we hope the children remember the key pieces of information relayed to them.
