Last week, we had a magnificent music assembly celebrating BBC World Music Day. Music has the potential to bring people together and change lives for the better!
Every year group shared either a song or learning from music. We heard a performance of the blues melody, a violin string demonstration, a reggae song and a song composition based on a poem.
The whole school sang ‘You’re Gonna Miss Me’, from the film ‘Pitch Perfect’, which was accompanied by the ‘Ukulele Stars’ the Year 6 ukulele club.
