We started our anti-bullying week with an assembly opening the discussion around this years theme: choose respect. This powerful message makes it clear that bullying is a behaviour choice, and by choosing respect for others, even when we disagree with them, can create a positive atmosphere where we can all grow, play and learn.
Throughout the week, the children of Monteagle continued exploring the powerful theme, considering examples of respect and how it relates to the friendships we form at school. To bring the week to a close, we pledged as a school to always choose respect.
