For ‘World Book Week’ the whole school are reading and completing work inspired by the book ‘The Wonder’ by Faye Hanson.
We started off by thinking about some of the things that we wonder about. The children came up with a wide range of thoughts. A few examples are:
‘I wonder if cats and dogs understand what we are saying to them.’
’I wonder why bananas are yellow.’
’I wonder where stars go during the day.’
’I wonder what makes a bee buzz.’
’I wonder what my friends will say if I give them a hug’
We are looking forward to reading the rest of the book.
