Year 5 had an incredible day on Monday performing alongside the London Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican in Central London. The theme of the concert was ‘Folksong and Fantasy’ based on Nordic Faroese folk stories, Icelandic marches and music by the Norwegian classical composer, Evard Grieg. We are now composing our own Icelandic marches in music class.
