On Monday, we came back to school with a bang!
We were visited by a ring master, called Smiles, who taught us all about the circus. He showed us how to perform like tight rope walkers and how to use our voices loudly like ring masters do. He also taught us about some of the animals that would have been seen in circuses in the past, like monkeys and lions. We even learned how to gallop like ponies. Some of us dressed up like circus performers which made the day really fun.
In class, we shared our knowledge about the circus by drawing pictures of clowns, magicians, the big top and acrobats.
We are all really excited to learn even more about the circus this half term.
