This week in Year 2 we have been thinking about the importance of Remembrance Day and learning about why it is important to remember all who lost their lives or were part of the war.
To help raise awareness the children have created an event for other children to take part in. We designed posters and speeches to make other classes aware of when the event was taking place. Then at playtime we
showed children how to make a poppy whilst teaching them new facts about the significance of Remembrance Day.
