A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR PARENTS/CARERS AND CHILDREN FOR YOUR GENEROUS DONATIONS!!
As a part of our service learning we have been learning to care for others, so this week we took part in the Shoe Box Appeal to support the Samaritans charity. Parents, children and staff all joined together to create an amazing collection of presents to donate to the charity. Each family filled shoe boxes with toys, stationary and treats and then wrapped the boxes with colourful Christmas paper. The children created cards and drew pictures and inserted them into the boxes. The atmosphere in Nursery was so positive with lots of friendly chatter and laughter. Children around the UK are going to be delighted with wonderful surprises when they open their gifts at Christmas.
