All children misbehave sometimes!
Some children are temperamentally more difficult to parent because they are impulsive, hyperactive, inattentive, or delayed in some aspect of their development.
If you are concerned by or are having difficulties in managing your child’s behaviour, please join us for the Incredible Years parent program, beginning in school on Thursday April 23rd.
The Incredible Years program is aimed at parents of children between the ages of 4 yrs to 8 yrs and will give you the tools to use play, praise and rewards to bring out the best in your child, giving you the confidence to deal with their difficult behaviour, whilst keeping calm.
The course will help you to:
- Understand why play and talk is so important
- Cope with your child’s behaviour
- Build positive parent-child relationships
- Gain support from other parents and professionals
This course will run for 12 sessions in the Parent Hub each Thursday morning during term time from the 23rd April until 16th July.
