This week Key Stage 2 musicians have been set the challenge of writing a rap or song in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Over the last month, the world has been shaken by anti-racism, Black Lives Matter, protests in response to the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the USA. We know that music has the power to unite people across communities and cultures as part of the movement against racism. With this in mind, Music at Monteagle is challenging Key Stage 2 musicians to compose a rap or song for Black Lives Matter. Make sure to use school appropriate language.

Write down how you feel about racism. Try turning your feeling words into some lyrics. Remember to use plenty of repetition.
