25 May marked the one-year anniversary of the murder of George Floyd and the beginning of the most recent Black Lives Matter movement that swept the world.

The Black Lives Matter reminds us of the importance of the movement for racial justice and equality.

We marked this day at Monteagle through lessons and activities which encouraged students to have an informed discussion about the movement, and to express their thoughts and opinions.
