As part of our science topic on electricity, this week we were looking at different circuits. The children had to decide if the circuit was complete or incomplete, and therefore predict whether it would light up the bulb or not.
Working in groups, the children reconstructed the circuits to test their predictions. Some circuits were easier to construct than others and the predictions weren’t always accurate as the children learned about the positive and negative end to a battery.
The children showed great teamwork working together and initiated some great conversations during the activity.
