The time had finally come on Wednesday for Year to take part in our Sports Day!
It has been a challenging few years with what has happened and it was a real shame that parents could not attend our special events this year. But we still loved taking part in it.
There were so many challenges to take part in. We had events such as; javelin, long jump, sack race, bean-bag throw, hurdles and a 50 metre sprint.
All the children took part in their own little way and no-one was left out. Children were cheering on their classmates on the side of the events for encouragement which was a lovely thing to hear.
Overall, the final standings for Year 3 were:
1st place – Longbridge (3CL)
2nd place – Becontree (3O)
3rd place – Eastbury (3JL)
Everyone did so well and taking the most important thing at the end of the day. Well done to everyone and congratulations to 3CL for winning Year 3 Sports Day 2021!
