Half way through our maths week and there are shapes everywhere!
The Nursery children have continue to explore shapes and have created some great pictures. Reception children have been developing their language to compare the size of different objects, including themselves! And, Year 4 have been using their skills to ensure that the patterns were given were symmetrical.
In the times table competition, 5F are extending their lead and will go into the final day as favorites. The battle for second place is hotting up. 6D have come from no-where, but will 6W hold on to their second place and win the extra playtime. Only 24 hours left of the competition.
Shape joke of the day: The teacher had to tell a triangle off yesterday for being rude to a circle. The teacher overheard the triangle telling the circle they were pointless.
