This week, the children have continued to learn about the stone age within various lessons. We became scientists and researchers and used evidence and artefacts to infer information about a man from 5000 years ago that was discovered frozen beneath ice.
We have also learned about subordinate clauses and conjunctions in writing lessons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FK2Gyto5gTQ is a link to a catchy song, that has been helping the children to learn about different conjunctions that they can use in their writing.
In maths we have been looking at our times tables, particularly focussing on the 6’s, and learning about counting on from known times tables to find unknown answers quickly (eg. 6×6 = 5×6 + 6)
