In Year 2 we have been learning all about the Great fire of London.
We have learnt lots on interesting facts about it such as:
It started in Thomas Farriner’s bakery as the ovens were not put out completely.
It started in Pudding Lane.
It lasted for 5 days and destroyed lots of houses, churches and livelihoods.
It happened in 1666.
People got water from the Thames in buckets to put out the fire as there was no fire brigade!
