A group of 12 children across Year 5 have been chosen to take part in The Brilliant Club. This is a programme that gives children around the UK the opportunity to see what it would be like to attend university. Over the next seven weeks the children will be working with a PhD tutor in small tutorial groups, studying a subject area that their tutor is an expert in. The children will be studying Soc Sci – Anthropology: Making a Museum
By the end of the programme the children will complete a university style essay and have it graded using university grade levels. Those that pass the programme will take part in a graduation ceremony later in the summer term.
Good luck to all who are taking part!
