This week we learnt about the Chinese New Year- The year of the Tiger. Children then explored different activities such as pretend cooking using chopsticks and noodles, dressing up and learning numbers in Chinese. Below is what some children said:
Andrei-“It is the year of the Tiger”
Ayla- “We wear red because it brings good luck”
Maisie- “They clean their house and do dragon dances”
Eesa- “They eat yummy noodles with chopsticks”
