This week we have been learning about Autism and what it means. We have also been talking about everyone being different and how those differences make us all special and unique. Children have really taken on a mature approach and have really understood what it means to have Autism and how it can affect daily life. We have also learnt that having autism isn’t just about challenges, but having incredible strengths too. We have been looking at how we can help our friends whose differences sometimes make their days challenging.
Nursery children really enjoyed colouring in the international symbol and also made a jigsaw puzzle as a sign of unity and support.
