Welcome back everybody, to our final term!
Although it was a shorter week, we have been extremely busy and productive.
April is autism awareness month. We learnt that autism is a word used to describe a lifelong condition which can affect an individual’s social and communication skills. We shared our knowledge on autism, and discussed family members and friends who have autism. We also discussed how being autistic need not be a barrier to success and achievement, as many famous have autism.
Using pieces of a jigsaw, we described how we are all special and unique in our own individual way. We then fitted the pieces together to show that, together, we make up a class and complete puzzle.
We are all a piece of a puzzle and we all fit together in the world
