This week nursery have loved reading the book ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. They enjoyed making their very own caterpillars using junk modelling and also learning the life cycle of a butterfly.

Below you can see pictures of children learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. The lesson was based around recapping the story together using pictures and props which really enabled children to understand the stages the caterpillar went through before it turned into a beautiful butterfly.
