Year 4 have had a stupendous science week. It has been messy, gross but most of all lots of fun!
We replicated the digestive system, from beginning to end. This made some of us feel quite ill!We made sultanas dance using bicarbonate soda and smelly white vinegar. We had an amazing investigation into what would happen to the water if we lit a candle, placed it in the middle of the water, and placed a glass over the candle. We were not expecting the end result.
An amazing visitor came to tell us about their job as a midwife at Queens hospital, and how they use science everyday to go about their day to day job. Some of us were definitely inspired to follow in her footsteps.
On Friday we had great fun dressing as a person that uses science in their occupation. There were countless number of different variations.
