The children have returned! The summer holidays have finished and school has begun once again for another year.
The staff were really excited to see the children return, with some old faces and some new ones too. Some of the children had different teachers, had new classes to go to, and new children to meet.
The staff were so amazing by how well so many of the children settled so quickly and seemed really happy in their classes. They came in and found their new workstations, they sat in their new carpet spaces and played with all the new toys they had.
To start this week, the classes have all had a settling in week. During this week, we have all been focussing on getting to know each other, and learning our new routines that we will be following for the future. Next week, we will be completing our usual lessons and working closely with the teachers in the class.
We also had the chance to take part in Roald Dahl week, where some of the children dressed up as their favourite Roald Dahl characters.
So far, a great start to the year for everyone, and we are really looking forward to seeing how this term goes.
