We have been doing our history topic of Ancient Egypt over the last couple of weeks.
We have learnt that the Egyptians used hieroglyphics as their form of writing. It was not letters like we use but pictures and symbols.
Over 100’s of years historians have worked out what the symbols mean. We had a simplified version of this is class and we learnt to write our names in Ancient Hieroglyphics! We then chose to do some other words when we had finished.
