To finish off our celebration of Black History Month this week we have been continuing to look at Nigeria as that is where Sarah Forbes Bonetta was from.

 

We tasted some Nigerian foods such as chin chin and plantain crisps. We then looked at some traditional Nigerian clothes, felt the fabrics and even tried some on! Finally, Mrs Olatunji taught some a few key phrases in Yoruba!

 

It was a great afternoon and a fun way to finish our Black History Month as well as the half term!
