Since coming back after half term we have started our new writing topic of ‘Fairy tales’.
We know lots already and spoke about how they always start with ‘Once upon a time’ and have happy endings.
Our book for he next few weeks is ‘The Frog Prince’.
At the start of the book the Princess is playing with her favourite ball and she throws it too high and it goes into the pond. Much to her surprise, a frog comes out and offers to give her the ball back if she is willing to keep a promise.
We acted out this scene in pairs, with one of us being the frog and one of us being the princess. Take a look at some of our still frames from our drama scene.
