Are all liquids the same?

We have now started our new science topic of ‘Changing States’.

We know our 3 main categories are: solids, liquids and gases, but are all liquids the same?

This week we looked at milk.

We had full fat, semi-skimmed UHT milk and oat milk. In pairs we had a look at each type of milk. We smelt it. looked at the consistency, looked at the colour, see if we could make it go frothy.

Looking at each of these criteria, we tried to see if we could tell which milk was which!

Its amazing, all milk is clearly not the same as nearly all of us got it correct!
