This week in Reception we have been reading the book Rainbow Fish. We have been learning about a unique fish with shimmering scales who doesn’t want to share them with his friends. But as the story goes on he eventually finds that he enjoys much more sharing and being kind.
The children loved this story and enjoyed learning about sharing and being kind to our friends.
In Reception the children have also been practising their fine motor skills. Rolling out playdough to make a rainbow fish and sticking on their shiny scales.
