This week in IPC, we delved deeper into our new topic on the Ancient Maya. Not only have we found out more on the area the Mayan people occupied thousands of years ago, but we also learnt how important they were to society, having developing their own writing and number system. The Mayan lived around 3000 years ago and to put that into perspective, we created a human timeline to show key events, as well as how relevant they still are to this day.
Our focus over the next few weeks is on the Ancient Mayan Gods and Goddesses. We can’t wait to continue our learning journey!
