The Heathway Centre have been in touch and have sent us some fantastic activities and opportunities that they are hosting over the next few weeks. The posters can be found at the bottom of this post.
These activities are for children with additional needs and are supported and ran by the Heathway staff . Parents/ carers can stay during all sessions to help engage your children and have a chance to observe how your children respond to different activities and stimuli, giving you more ideas that can be used in a home setting.
There are two programs that they are putting together; ‘Play & Communicate’ sessions, and ‘Music & Movement’ sessions. Both programs could be fantastic to have you children participate in, and we, as a school, know there are many of our children that love music related lessons and activities, as well as play and sensory based activities. So these programs could be extremely beneficial for your children to go along to.
If you would like to be a part of these sessions, please contact the Heathway Centre on the numbers provided and book a place for you and your children.
