The children had a wonderful first week back at school and were keen to explore their new topic titled Journeys and Transport.
The children had brand new bikes waiting for them this week as well as road equipment that they used to set up tracks, crossings and roads using cones. I think it’s safe to say they have been a big hit.
The children have built ramps and tunnels to use with the cars and began to use large construction to build their own transport.
In the class this week we read the story Mr Gumpy’s Outing. The children enjoyed learning about Mr Gumpy’s journey he took on his boat and painted some wonderful observational pictures to match the story.
