This week we have been celebrating World Book Day. We have focused on Joseph Coelho’s book called ‘Poems Aloud’. Year 6 have been focusing on performance poetry, which we learnt is a wonderful and creative way to express ourselves.
After our West End workshop last week, we were able to include lots of interesting and engaging ways to perform using our bodies which helps to engage the audience.
Each Year 6 class have chosen a poem from the book to perform on Monday’s assembly which will showcase our dramatic skills.
