The Year 5s were up again bright and early for an action packed day activity, despite the fact that many complained they couldn’t get to sleep until late. Little did they know it was only 10 o’clock at this time but without their trusty iPhones and iPads who knows how to tell the time these days anyway.

First up was outdoor laser tag and a convincing performance from Miss Darcy’s team saw them blow away Mr Francis’ group 5-0. A result Miss Darcy herself and Bobby will be hoping for this evening as their beloved hammers take on Mr Francis’ very own Liverpool down in Stratford.

Elsewhere on the laser tag field, it was Jack’s superb combat skills that led Miss Edward’s team to victory – however the other teams claimed they were just hungry for lunch by this point! Sandwiches and Sausage rolls were the order of the day in what’s been a much needed Carb loaded week!

After lunch and it was a switch from modern combat to medieval methods as the kids turned their hands to archery – only aiming at the targets though, don’t worry! Salamata, Ashanti, Gerardas and Luca were particularly impressive as they discovered a new skill they can all be proud of.

The teamwork and support for one other has been outstanding throughout the trip and we as a team are very proud of how the year 5s conducted themselves in what has been an excellent few days at Stubbers.
