Our children have been working hard this term in preparation for their upcoming SATS tests. Equally, the teachers have been hard at work to ensure that the children have a great term after their tests.
Our Summer topic is “All the world’s a stage.” Perfectly timed with the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, Year 6 will be looking at the life of Shakespeare and his work, and will be putting on two shows at the end of next term.
To complement the research children will be doing in their classes, we have scheduled trips to the Victoria & Albert Museum and The British Library; and The Globe Theatre will be coming in to work with our students!
It is going to be a very exciting term and we can’t wait to update you on all the amazing work the children will be creating in the next month. Watch this space.
