We would like to announce that the Year 6 children will be putting on a spectacular performance of the musical ‘Matilda at Jo Richardson. This much-loved show by Dennis Kelly and musical genius Tim Minchin will be taking place on the 5th July 2023.
Matilda is a heart-warming musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book, and tells the story of a young girl with an extraordinary imagination. Despite the opposition of her exploitative family, Matilda triumphs in the face of adversity with a little help from her special teacher. The show is full of memorable songs and laugh-out-loud humour.
We invite all Y6 parents to attend the performance and would like to remind you that the cast and crew will be practising hard each week after half-term to get the lines, choreography and music to perfection in readiness of their big show.
It promises to be quite a performance and we look forward to seeing you there.
