For the last few weeks, we have been focusing on money.
Starting with acknowledging its purpose, we have gone on to look at the different denominations (coin & note) and work out how we can exchange different amounts, representing money in both pounds and pence.
Eg. £3.50 = 350p.
The children have coped with this intensive ‘Money’ workload brilliantly and have impressed us with their knowledge.
Maybe next time you are out shopping together you can ask your children to help you get together the correct amount for your bread and milk!
