Year 4 are reading the book called ‘Iron Man’ by Ted Hughes. Children read Chapter 1 which described how a tall, gigantic creature named Iron Man tumbled off a cliff, into nothingness. All his body parts lay scattered near the seashore and nobody knew the Iron Man had fallen. Children then performed a ‘Readers Theatre’ based on the description. Using their script, they thought about what actions they can do that connect with the words.
