The children were invited to wear Christmas jumpers to raise money for the charity Save The Children who save and improve children’s lives around the world. They work to ensure children have healthcare, food and shelter, as well as learning and child protection services.
The students and staff looked wonderful in all their festive attire and were treated to a special assembly hosted by Miss Edwards and her class. 5E performed the Frank Sinatra song ‘Mistletoe and Holly’ and read poetry by Kelly Roper. Then everyone was invited to take part in a short Christmas jumper themed quiz and join in with some more seasonal singing. What a great way to kick off the festivities!
