Across this term, we have been having two classes going swimming every Monday morning; ARC and AR classes.
They have loved it! All the children have been in the pool each week. Some children may take slightly longer to adapt and become confident in the pool, but eventually, they get in at their own pace. The staff who have been getting in have been very patient with the children, encouraging them in many different ways to venture into the pool. Other children, however, run and dive into the pool when they see the water! We are all just so proud that no matter how long it has taken or what encouragement they have needed, all the children in these two classes have jumped in and happily swam around with their friends, with an adult, or bobbing up and down by themselves.
