Wow! What a week we have had!
This week, we have been celebrating Autism Acceptance Week in our classes across the school. It is a week that means a lot to Monteagle as we have one of the largest Additional Resource Provisions (ARP’s) in the borough, where we support over 30 children daily with autism.
We have been raising money this week for the charity ‘The Sycamore Trust’ by hosting their annual fundraising event ‘Dare to Be different’. Nearly all of our children have dressed up or worn something different as what they normally would, and we cannot wait to find out how much we have raised for the charity altogether!
We would like to thank all the parents and staff who have participated in making this week and today so special. We will share the total amount the school raise with you once it has all been collected and counted, so stay tuned….!
We would also like to give a massive thank you to everyone who has donated to the cause this week. It has been amazing to see how many people donating this morning when walking round, as well as those who have donated on our JustGiving page!
There is still time to donate! A link to the JustGiving Page has been sent out via parent mail. If you would like to donate, please do so! Every penny is greatly appreciated!
