Year 3 are beginning to learn about Ancient Egypt, with a focus on what the ancient civilisation believed in.
This week, year 3 took a look at gods and goddesses by studying a piece of text and an image of the goddess Sekhmet. The pupils found out that gods and goddess were vital to Egyptian life. During their learning, the children got to showcase their drawing skills by sketching the goddess.
We are all now very excited to visit the British Museum to find out more Ancient Egyptians.
