This week, Year 6 children headed out on a trip to the Science Museum. Despite the long journey on the train, the children were very excited and kept themselves busy with endless games of ‘I spy’.

Once we arrived at the museum, we explored the different exhibits the museum had to offer such as the Space gallery, the Medicine and Bones exhibit and the Flight gallery.

After lunch, we made our way to the WonderLab; an exhibit with lots of hands-on activities and mini science experiments for the children to interact with. The Pulley Chairs and the Friction Slides were popular amongst the kids well as the Spinning Turntable with the help of ‘extra spinning’ from Mr Hardy.

Everyone had a brilliant time interacting with the different experiments and learning in an active way.  It was a very fun day of Science!
