Today, Year 2 learnt a new calypso song called ‘Four white horses’.
After learning about the origins of calypso music and the instruments often used in this style of music, the children learnt the songs lyrics. They even added some dance moves too!
Afterwards they learnt a challenging instrumental using 6 notes on their glockenspiels, which included an F#. 2CP ventured outside in the afternoon heat to sit in the shade and play their instruments too. See how they got on below!
