What a fantastic start to the season for Monteagle girls’ football team, securing their first win with a 3-1 triumph against St Vincent’s at Goals! The team took an early lead, but a goal from St Vincent’s just before halftime brought the score level.
Despite the setback, the girls’ spirits remained high, and their determination was clear during the halftime break. They rallied together, encouraged one another, and went back out with 100% effort. Their hard work paid off with two brilliant second-half goals, sealing a well-deserved victory.
