Excitement filled the air this week as Year 3 participated in the Monteagle General Election! The children had the opportunity to cast their vote for their favoured electoral candidate, experiencing democracy in action.
Lining up outside the polling station with their ID badges in hand, the children were buzzing with anticipation. Each student had to present their ID at the door before making their way to the voting booth to cast their important vote. It was a fantastic learning experience and gave everyone a taste of how real elections work!
