This week in English we have been learning about imperative verbs. These are ‘bossy’ verbs that we often use in instructions. As we were going to write our own instructions, we made a jam sandwich the day before so that we knew how to tell other people how to make it. We had to make sure that our instructions were in the correct order too, otherwise our sandwich could be mixed up.
I know lots of children have made a jam sandwich at home as a snack afterwards. Maybe we have some chefs in the making!
