I can’t believe we’re already at the end of the first half term—time has flown by, and it’s been a brilliant few weeks filled with so much activity and excitement!
Year 3 Stone Age Showcase
A massive shout-out to our Year 3 children who put on a fantastic learning showcase of their Stone Age Britain topic. It was wonderful to see so many parents come along, participate, and engage with the children’s projects. Your support means the world to us and really adds to the sense of community we strive to create.
Year 6 at Trewern
Our Year 6 pupils had an amazing time at Trewern! It’s always a highlight of the year, and it’s another shining example of how we prioritise building our students’ cultural capital. The adventures, challenges, and experiences they’ve had will stay with them for a long time.
50 Things to Do Before 11¾
With half-term just around the corner, don’t forget to take a look at our 50 Things to Do Before 11¾ list. It’s packed with fun activities you can enjoy as a family, and it’s a great way to make the most of the break together. We’d love to hear about your adventures when we’re back!
External Visits
This week, we hosted three external visitors: the School Improvement Partner, the SEND Manager, and our Inclusion Lead. Their visits were thorough, but the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. They highlighted the warm and supportive atmosphere of our school, the fantastic learning behaviours our children demonstrate, the quality of classroom discussions, and the positive, respectful relationships between staff and pupils. It’s a testament to our strong, embedded culture, and we are incredibly proud of what we’re achieving together.
What’s Next?
Looking ahead to the next half term, we have plenty of exciting events lined up! There will be more parent workshops, coffee mornings, and, of course, our Christmas celebrations. We can’t wait to see you at these events and continue building on the wonderful community spirit we share.
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support.
Best wishes,
Sara
