The children were excited to begin their science topic on “Living Things and Their Habitats” this week. They kicked off their learning by exploring the seven life processes, using the helpful mnemonic MRS GREN to remember each one. Throughout their lessons, they also worked on classifying animals into different groups, such as omnivores, carnivores, and herbivores. By collaborating on various activities, the children successfully completed their tasks and, by the end of the lessons, were able to explain how animals can be grouped in different ways based on their characteristics. It was a fun and engaging start to their new topic!
