Reception year Parents/ carers were invited this Thursday for attending our reception year’s phonics workshop. This workshop was all about the importance of phonics and its positive impact on developing young children’s reading and writing skills, especially in the EYFS. Parents/ carers were demonstrated how to effectively support their children for getting them to read and write. Later parents joined their children in their classrooms. They were able to see how phonics played an important role in their children’s reading and writing skills.
We, the reception year teachers thank all the parents who took their precious time out and attended this important workshop.
